The Shiridi Sai Diploma in Engineering & Technology was started in the year 2008-2009 with the good intention of preparing producing Technical skills in various fields in view of the recent changes of globalization, industrialization, computerization and urbanization of India in particular and the world at large.. "The destiny of the nation is made in the class room" as said by the Kothari Commission in 1964. The teachers are destiny makers since it is they who teach in the class room. They can make or change the carrier of pupils. Architects, Scientists, Engineers and Politicians are made in the class room. So there is great responsibility on the teachers. Shiridi Sai Diploma in Engineering & Technology took the opportunity and undertook the responsibility of preparing good students.

It is situated at Maripivalasa which is at distance of 7 K.M. from Parvathipuram in ideal surroundings. The college is situated in 7acres of land. A new building is also constructed and opened recently. This year the 1st batch of students is admitted. The college has a strength of 300 students. The college has all facilities which are provided by the management.

Yerra Krishna Murty Educational Society - The college committee also has been providing many facilities with moderate laboratory equipments as well as computer education for the welfare of the students and development of the institution with good intension.

We, in India today, are living in a transitional era. On one hand, we are swamped by the global financial melt down while on the other, we are witnessing a slow but sure revival of the manufacturing and agricultural sectors. It is evident that highly trained and skilled professionals will be needed in vast numbers to enable our country’s transition towards industrial and financial self-sufficiency. In this changing scenario, technology will continue to be a major catalyst for enabling the country’s transformation .So the demand for quality technical education in India is huge.

In Andhra Pradesh, we often mention with pride that the state has the largest number of technical / professional institutions to impart skill based education to fulfill the needs of the industry. But the fact remains that, in spite of the large number of engineers churned out from the 300 and odd colleges every year, there continues to be an unbridgeable gap between the needs of the Industry and the skill set that the engineering students possess.

We are setting up to produce an engineer with high knowledge and skill to the society at our level best.
